KOBASHI ALMOND OIL 100% Pure SWEET

LATIN NAME: Prunis amygdalis var. dulcis.
SOURCE: cold pressed from the kernels and filtered
COLOUR: pale yellow. Colour can be light to goldened batch dependent.
ORIGIN: Spain / USA
AROMA: faintly sweet nutty

QUALITIES: Rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E. An ideal basic carrier oil, nourishing and protecting to the skin. Calms skin irritation. Can be used on its own or with other carrier oils. Good keeping qualities as it contains vitamin E. This is the most widely used carrier oil.

A member of the Rosaceae family and a relative of the Peach and Apricot, the Almond tree is native to Barbary but cultivated in the Mediterranean and California. It bears soft cream blossoms with yellow centres, which appear before the leaves.

The Almond is mentioned many times in the Bible; 'And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds' (Numbers,xvii, 8).

All oils should be kept out of eyes. Do not put on top eye lid as this may run into eyes. You should be able to use at 100% unless you are sensitive.

Contains Nut Oil

This is the most widely used carrier oil. Rich in vitamins, including vit E. Nourishing and protecting to the skin. It has good keeping qualities and blends well with other carrier oils.

Not suitable if you have allergies. Contains nut oils.
