【植物介紹】
薑屬薑科,多年生直立草本,高約一米,根莖肥厚腫狀。花色黃或白,花序直接由根莖伸出。葉狹長呈矛形,原產南亞。

AROMA: Warm, spicy characteristic of fresh ground ginger.
QUALITIES: Traditional Chinese remedy for excess water, ideal in winter for its warming effect. Helpful muscle tonic, an aid to digestion helps to calm an upset stomach. We use Ginger as an ingredient in our Travel roller ball to help calm travel sickness. Long history as a domestic spice and herbal remedy especially in the East.
A member of the Zingiberaceae family, it is an erect perennial up to one metre high, with a thick spreading, tumorous rhizome root. The flowers are yellow or white and are borne on a spike directly from the root. It has narrow spear shaped leaves. It is native to southern Asia.
