【植物介紹】

KOBASHI FENNEL Sweet OIL 100% Pure

LATIN NAME: Foeniculum vulgare
SOURCE: Steam distilled from the crushed seed.
COLOUR: Clear to pale yellow.
ORIGIN: Spain.
AROMA: Clean, fresh, sweet, aniseed like, due to high (E)-anethole content approx. 80%.

QUALITIES: a detoxifying oil which is said to improve circulation and help combat cellulite and weight gain. Ideal in skin preparations for mature and / or oily, dull skin. Blends well with Geranuim, Lavender and Rose. Don't use if epileptic as its actions can be nerotoxic to some.

As a herb it is thought to convey longevity, courage and strength. Also used to ward off evil spirits.

A member of the Umbelliferae family, it is a perennial herb growing up to two metres, with feathery leaves and golden yellow flowers which appear in the summer, followed by large ribbed pale brown seeds. Thought to be a native of Malta , but now grown widely.
